Farm blocks should be replantable though automation

Currently, I don’t really see a point in automating the harvest of crops, when the plantation is only manual.
I would suggest using the mod “Planting Automation” from here https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=3568982238, where how it works is a connector Can thow out items on the farm itself, which would then get planted into the farm

Already suggested and declined, unfortunately. Looks like Keen is dead set on keeping farming tedious. I hope at the very least they reduce the amount of clicks it takes to farm. Should really just be one click to plant.

If they don't want to implement it themselves, it'd at least be nice if they improved the API so the mod linked above didn't have to use hacky workarounds to get auto planting working. It's an odd hill to die on.

Why can't they just make seeds an item soo you can keep the seed packets in your hand and just click the plots... why all the CLICKS god damn. Or why not have a planter block or block interaction like in the “Planting Automation” jesus is big sad that one suggestion got declined.

If you're talking about the one I am thinking of, it automates the entire manual process for the farm plot thing.
