Apex - sorter has no food category like ore or ingots or components

Apex survival - conveyor sorters have no high level food category like there is for ore, ingots, hand tools, ammo etc. for adding to a whitelist/blacklist. Would it be possible to add a food category for sorters so the user isn't required to add each individual food item to a whitelist in order to pass them along the conveyor system?
