i'm on the spiders team

Me and my friend both joined keen US #2 and I went to make a faction then saw that I was already on a faction, I thought played on the server before and made a faction but when I check it said that we were both was on space spiders, witch is normaly for the saberoids and wolfs and not ment for players, i can leave it and make a new faction but why did it put me on it in the first place?
I have the same bug
