Laser antennas drop connection for no apparent reason.
Hi,
I'm having trouble with these, as they are rather janky. I got to the point that I suspect this must be a bug, as I can't possibly explain anyhow why this shouldn't just work.
On the images it can be seen that I tried to "pull" a link from Earth to the Moon, but I didn't get very far before the connection started to drop out. I thought it could be a range issue (I read that rendering distance was mentioned in the past that affects antennas), but then it reconnected if I moved sideways a bit or in different directions. So I got to a point where if I move the ship a few metres left or right, the connection drops consistently at the same spot. Then I got out of the ship and I flew along the red beam to see what's getting in the way. Perhaps some tiny asteroids or something. I flew all the way to the land and I did not encounter any voxels along the laser beam that could explain why it's obstructed a few metres here and not there. I'm out of ideas. The Line of Sight should be perfect. The power isn't an issue at this range, yet. The settings are good, both are set to infinite range. I triple checked.
Could you please advise?
Thanks!
Kind regards,
Istvan
