Ship Computer virus enemy

An enemy, not in the form of a faction, but in the form of a string of text inside the custom script. A line of code that simply says something that sounds tough, like Prometheus. This will enable the ship to be hostile to everything especially the creator. It will instantly try to kill and destroy everything that is alive once its name (and only its name) is inputted into into the Custom script. Lemme know your thoughts, or if this sounds silly.

hello!

i have bad experience with this from the game league of legends.

in that game you can just send a specific private message to a player, and render that player dropped off of matchmaking games - making him unable to rank up, and even get reported for leaving the game.

worst thing is the recieving player does not even know that it recieves a private message, and can not even report to to that game's devs

I know very little about league of legends, but that's pretty interesting. The idea is that, your own ships can go hostile and need a safeguard of some sort.

safeguard, like to mute a player? right. well don't join anyone's discord - that is muting enough. also you can not tell whether muting works or not.

i tried to tell that such game mechanic is considered cheating, and grievous in other games (league of legends for one example, but there has been multiple such weak games)

Are we talking about the same thing?

you are suggesting that players should be able to grief one another - not by using third party tools, nor by exploiting the lack of safety (if any), but by actually implementing it into the game, and treat it as a feature

if i was a game dev i would make sure that the features i implement into the game are transparent enough to not make players rage quit after just one hour of playing
