Agreed, it should be a menu within the game. At the least you press a button in the game to generate a token that automatically logs you into the website. As others have said, some people just keep making emails to upvote themselves

i must say that it is almost as worrying as the fact that people is having to multiaccount to be able to get stuff to be relevant because devs have too high standards of votes
