Unknown Signals event is underwhelming

I was pretty excited for this Fieldwork/May skin hunt event, but I must say it's been pretty disappointing. There are way too many drops that end in "nothing special" or no message at all.

I get that these are supposed to be long-term content, but there is a point when the grind goes from task to chore. IMO, we are way past that line, and this event has done nothing to make it better.

the real rarity skins only drop on strong unknown signals but the buff on the higher rarity drops is barelly noticeable anyway

So you are telling me that this event is Straight Useless, since I only play Single Player.... False Advertisement Keen!

Seems that way. :(

The vast majority of mine have no message at all... I haven't seen "nothing special" (or whatever it is) since the update.

Probably 10-15% of them seem to have the same old cruft, and the rest have no message at all.

(by "same old cruft", I mean things like a handful of construction components and interior plates... really low-tier stuff)

Well.... One of the points of this update was meant to freshen up the Unknown Signals builds, so you get more loot when grinding them, then the standard stored loot.

Your Steam inventory is probably still receiving the skin drops. The in game message seems to be buggy at the moment, but the skin hunt is still on.

welp... my steam seems to disagree :/

like, i get more chances of getting something on steam when the no luck message posps than when no message at all pops... and the chances still no look like if they were increased...
