Warfare Updates Part 1 (Suggestions)

Hello Keen, I want to share some suggestions I would like to see in future warfare updates. I know some of these are a little ambitious, but I do hope to see some of the better ones (These are just the weapons and tools, not every feature.) I'll start with the basic weapons then get to Prototech.


Flamethrower- A weapon used for flushing players out of their grids. The flames can go through very small cracks in the players grid making it ideal for eliminating gunners and pilots inside. It has a short range and is effective against players. It isn't very effective toward damaging the grid, and maybe uses hydrogen tanks for ammo or something new like a gas tank. It has a handheld tool as well, though obviously, it's weaker.

Machine Guns- Faster shooting handheld weapons that are larger and heavier than the weapons already in the game. The barrel could look like a Gatling gun and the machine gun could be called something else, for example, XR 20 or something similar. It could have the basic to elite versions like all the other guns in the game.

Heavy Artillery- A stronger variant of artillery with extended range and damage. Its primary use is longer range bombardment. It has a high recoil.

Heavy Artillery Turret- A tri-barreled turret that is stronger than the basic artillery turret. Small grid version has only two barrels and a very high recoil.

Warfare Gatling Turret- A turret for the warfare Gatling gun.

Warfare Rocket Turret- A turret for the warfare Rocket launcher.

Gatling Gun Type 2- A weapon block for the Gatling Turret type 2.

Rocket Launcher Type 2- A weapon block for the Rocket Launcher Type 2.

Laser- An extremely powerful weapon with a colossal power draw. Relatively short range. Used to cut ships in half.

Now for the Prototech


Basic Prototech Weapons- By basic I mean Prototech versions of weapons in the game already, and possibly handheld Prototech weapons.

Prototech Plasma Gun- A very powerful weapon that is similar to the Railgun but with increased range and damage

Prototech Plasma Turret- A turret for the Prototech Plasma Gun that is slightly less powerful because it is smaller, but the difference between them is very small.

Prototech Ion Gun- A weapon used to temporarily disable grid systems and suck energy out of batteries. Short range but the shots can go through armor.

Prototech Ion Turret- Slightly less powerful because it's smaller but it is effective against small grids because the ship itself does not have to move to hit the ships.

Prototech Laser- EXTREMELY powerful weapon with such a large power draw. (Some Prototech batteries required.)

These are the weapons I can think of off the top of my head, so I hope to see them in the future. Thanks Keen
