NPC Ground Drones (Rovers)
I think Keen should add new types of ground based drones like rovers, deployed by various different Planetary Encounters. I think the way this should work is when a player discovers a Planetary Encounter, an NPC rover can have a chance of spawning in or around it, depending on what type of PE it is. I know this could take some time to implement because of having to improve AI pathfinding but I think this feature could make planets feel more immersive and alive compared to normal PEs that are stationary static grids that have to be attacked rather than attacking the player back. I know some PEs launch drones, but not many do and I think rover to rover or fighter to rover combat would really change planetary gameplay for the better. I know this will take a while but I do hope it will be added in the future. Thank you for reading
