Default sorting of "All Bugs" page on support site

Currently, most "Popular" bug reports are listed on the default page showing many older solved bugs, which I think isn't very meaningful knowledge today.
Wouldn't it make more sense to show the "New/Updated" bug reports instead, to see the most active bug reports on the default page?
