Using mixed drills as a block tool

It is not possible to use prototech and conventional drills together as a block tool. Because of this, it is not possible to use the excavation mode simultaneously on both types of drills.
As I understand it, you cannot enable excavation mode through a script either.

I would like to add that this also applies to other tool blocks that have the same code part, but different models (for example, machine guns or rocket launchers)

Thank you for your feedback! This isn’t actually a bug; rather, it’s a missing feature in the game. Currently, it’s not possible to use prototech and conventional drills together as a block tool, nor can you activate excavation mode for both types simultaneously, even via a script.

Just up voting this idea .... it is a very very good idea . I have only played this game for like 2 weeks and being literally overwhelmed with options (in a good way) to not have THIS option confuses me.
