Reduce Prototech Thruster Damage Radius

The Prototech thruster has a really WIDE damage radius the length of the flame is fine but the width of the damage area is so large it actively prevents and restricts normal thruster building techniques. not asking to allow the thruster to hide behind a 1x1 hole or anything but allowing something like is shown in the attached image would really be a great help to builders of all skill levels.
