Request that collectors can extract items from temporary containers
Not Enough Votes
When grinding down a full large cargo container I thought I had emptied it but alas no... I then placed a collector to the side of the temporary container created, but the collector is unable to extract items from the temp container. Having the ability to drop all contents from a temporary container or have collectors have the ability to "collect" items from temporary containers, I feel, is a good idea.
But it does empty the teeporary container.
You need o get it very close , basicaly inside the port of the collector, than it starts to huff and puff and empties it.

I did have the container right next to it. I was pulling as much as I could out of the container and then dropping it from my inventory and the collector was collecting. I had the collector, then the temporary container, then the engineer. If the collector was managing to pick up the stuff I was dropping then why would the collector not collect the temp container? Could it be that the container was spawned first? If this happens again I will stick the collector on a piston and try to get it closer. What is the range of a collector?
