AI Basic follow mode follows too slowly

When using the "follow me" function of the AI basic block, the drone seems unwilling to go max speed when im doing so. The AI Flight block is correctly set to a max speed of 100m/s, and the Basic is set to follow me at a distance of 200m. But it decides to accelerate so slowly it ends up following me at 1.5km, and it needs several minutes to go from 90m/s to 100m/s; despite being capable of much greater acceleration.
