how about having a lab, where you can do infinite research, like:
thrusters need less energy/fuel
thrusters have more thrust
engines need less H2 for the same amount of energy
engines produce more energy with same amount of H2
refineries produce less gravel but more barren of iron, nickel and silicium
refineries need less energy
blocks getting smaller
sorters push more volume at once
solarpanels need less light for same energy
etc
I like this feedback
