Altimeter readouts in cockpit and flight seat unable to be read by scripts

Hi there, I've been trying to make a GPWS system using custom soundbites that announces the altitude, in the same way planes do; however there seems to be no possible option to interface with the altimeter from the Cockpit and flight seat. Is it possible to make the Altimeter readout store the altitude as a variable to activate blocks such as Sound blocks?
