Possible combat purpose for new flares and firework launcher.

Currently neither the flaregun nor firework launcher have much use in combat other than getting a direct hit and doing a bit (or in flaregun's case a lot) of damage.


So a more combat focused use for each of these things would be nice, for flareguns it'd obviously be the flares working as decoys but for the firework launcher they could be turned into a multi ammo volleygun where you could load stuff like fireworks, smoke shells, flares, flak shells, flecettes, sabots and possibly more. Additionally a variant of firework launchers that have all the tubes pointing in the same direction would make them easier to work into both combat and decorative purposes.

For the earlier mentioned new firework launcher ammo types their effects would be as followed:

Smoke shell - less velocity but creates a large cloud of smoke blocking player and possibly turret line of sight

Flares - decoys that draw enemy fire

Flak shells - like fireworks but instead of pretty lights it's metal shrapnel that does noteworthy damage to anything near the blast

Flecettes - a shotgun blast, deadly against players and with the absurd firerate you could seriously harm smallgrid fighters

Sabots - a bullet, great for recreating the Fondor Haulcraft vs Arrestor Cruiser scene

That would be cool, and you could change ammo with the mouse wheel, like you change block variants.
