Space standoff - cannot leave medical room

I have subscribed to the Space Standoff scenario but cannot open the door from the medical room spawn point as I do not have access rights

I appear to have rights to all other doors ('K' menu) but not this first door

How do I leave the room?

I suspect the doors only open when there are players for the other team so that both sides start at once

Ignore my original message (unless someone wishes to confirm my suspicions)
