Respawning still gives you full gas bars regardless of whether the respawn block has access to them or not
Stone refining for core resources in its current state is likely to increase the amount of mining / the size of the Voxel data file. Specifically, grids once named over-enthusiastically as Earth Breaker could now more precisely be called Server Breaker.
