Block Suggestion: Splitter

A 1x1 conveyor/storage block with four connections. On the two opposite non-connector faces arrows indicate that one connection is an input and the other three are outputs. Like a sorter this block acts as a divider between the attached conveyor networks.

On each tick the stored amount of each item within the block is equally through each connected output every processing tick. This allows you to control the division of material between processes (for instance sending some iron ingots to assemblers set to automatically produce plates and sending the rest to storage)

By connecting a sorter to the input you can pre-filter the material to be distributed.

If only two of the outputs are connected the then the materials would be split in a 1:1 ratio.

If three outputs are connected to three different conveyor networks then the materials would be split in a 1:1:1 ratio.

However if two of the three outputs are connected to the same conveyor network and the third output connected to another network it would split the materials by a 2:1 ration.
