Annoying camera

Hello,

Im looking for mod, tweak/modify game setting to make camera non-collisive with terrain or at least not switching instantly to 1st person instead closing to lowest possible distance before doing it. If somebody played World of WarCraft will know what I have in mind - I wish to camera give closer look as obstacles are present to the point of minimal logical distance from player/cocpit before switching to 1st person. Imho current distance of switching is too high. Any ideas?
