I made a small grid cargo drone ship. Then I recorded a path that works pretty well and connects to the connector. Although if it's not oriented correctly, it just flies up to the connector in any orientation and doesn't connect. I had collision avoidance on originally and it would turn at last moment. So that make sense it needs to be turned off. Not sure if there is a way to set orientation at start or not.

just a heads up, Saw a guy on youtube who managed to dock flawlessly while me and a friend were having your exact issues.
Turned out we werent giving the drone enough space, so we reduced it to 2 recorded waypoints with way more distance than we started with, then all of a sudden it oriented itself correctly.

Thanks! I'll give that a try.

It worked well for a while then quit working. Not sure if it was a bug or not.
