[Beta] Event Controller Actions

Suggestion for Event Controller Actions:

Definitive state actions for the various 'toggle on/off' only options currently available.

Examples:

  • 'Handbrake On' & 'Handbrake Off' instead of just 'Handbrake On/Off'
  • Battery State: 'Discharge', 'Recharge', 'Auto' instead of 'Discharge On/Off', 'Recharge On/Off', etc.
  • (This is not a full list.)

Adding these actions will allow for deterministic behavior that doesn't get weird if a block becomes out of sync with the others effected by the event, such as by being repaired from a projector after a collision or combat damage.

For batteries, you can select Auto On and then one of the toggles to get a determined state.

There is a whole bunch of blocks needing absolute states.


-Warhead "Arm/Disarm" into "Arm ON" and "Arm OFF"

-Thrusters "Max Override" and "Disable Override" in addition to the default "Increase Override" and "Decrease Override"

Just to name a few. These additions would be very welcome before the main update drops.

Also, I think it could be useful to be able to detect the ON/OFF state of a block with the Event Controller.
