Small grid small connector should have a block to connect with large grids

The Automatons Beta changed the ejector block into a small grid 1x1 connector. Currently, a small grid can only connect to a large grid using the 3x3 small grid connector. This means that if you want a small grid ship or drone to be able to connect to a large grid, such as a base or mothership, either the small grid ship must have the 3x3 connector, or the large grid must use a subgrid so that the 1x1 small connector can be used. This makes it harder for especially compact small grid drones or ships to refuel, since you must either sacrifice the compactness of the small grid or add a potentially risky subgrid component to the large one.

I would like to see a connector that allows an easy interface between a large grid and a small grid that uses the new 1x1 connector.

you can currently do this with a large-grid hinge, small-grid hinge part (either size), and building out to the small-grid connector wherever you need it to be in the space of a large-grid block. This is more flexible than a single, fixed-location large-grid small-connector block would be.

The point is to avoid connecting to a subgrid, since this can cause Clang. The hinge parts are a subgrid.

What I can see for this is to have a small connector ring in the center of a large connector, kind of like the upgrade module port in the center of the conveyor port on the assembler.
