Hi, I have no idea in what category to past this so srry in advance ^.^

I was playing an old classic a few days ago, BioShock, and I got this weird thought of "damn it would be awesome to have a game where you must build and maintain an underwater city.

And not the large amount or RTS like underwater games, but real building game. And my mind kinda drifted to a Space engineers underwater. With the main focus on pressure management (build integrity,) Maintenance, drone/vehicle construction with buoyance and maintenance, (As going out on the deep ocean floor will crush you) and AI/population control (a city without citizen is kinda not a city at all)

So if you guys ever have a brainstorm setting about "The next engineers game in series" I hope you can give my 2 cents brainfart can inspire you ^.^

Can't wait for the AI update, keep up the great work!

You're too slow, it's already happening: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-7F1wXWFU0

I have seen that, maybe that's why my mind went to space engineers under water. But my idea is more then just water mechanics. I doubt they will focus on pressure management& integrity, flow control, buoyance (other then blocks will float) and population control ^.^

In some blog and/or other video they have emphasized that they want to introduce water only from an engineering aspect with features as you have described them.

Nice. I just think the setting will be out of scope for space engineers though.

Making underwater biomes with sea creatures and such. Simulation of how light also works underwater etc etc. But it's a good start ^.^
