Suggestion: Battery Power Output Slider

Wondering if there would be any way to add a power slider for batteries in the control panel.
This would let you set a preferred maximum power output lower than the batteries actual output in order to manage power consumption better and try to make the power last longer on the grid. It’s kinda like micromanagement but could also add another step in realism.
Just an idea that came to mind when I playing survival last night. :)

How would that work? If blocks don't receive the energy at the rate they require, they shut down or work slower, but they still need the same amount of energy to do the work they're tasked to do. If you want to make your batteries last longer: shut down blocks.
