Make the Console Block projections more opaque/visible

I love that I can project my ship AND it's subgrids on the console block. BUT .... in a typical SE build the projection is kind of hard to see with all the other elements around (decorative walls, cockpits windows and the black of space).
Is it at all possible to make the projection for that block a bit less transparent?

It would be great to have this as an additional slider, I also agree. The default could be what it is now, just with more flexability
