Collision based block placement/hitboxes

I've been in many situation where logically I *should* be able to place a block but because the boundaries of placement are 1x1x1 cubes, I can't
For example:
Having a system where the placement boundaries are linked to the hitboxes of the blocks would make this type of situation much less common.
This is annoying for sure some times, For that I need to temporarily enable super gridding but if you're not an admin on the server, you're just out of luck there. This gotta be fixed, cause supergriding is a problemin the longrun, trust me I tried, the kraken was happy.
