solar storm as space only option

I like solar storms as a concept but it doesn't work very well on a planetary level in my opinion. after 2-3 hours the area around your base is so paved with craters that rover gameplay and good performance are no longer given. so it would be nice to have an option to have solar storms only appear in space.

I've never turned meteors on in a game where I have a planet start or plan a planet or moon base, but almost always have it on when doing a space start, for exactly the reasons you mention.
