Safe zones - we need option to turn them off (safezones) in menu like spiders, etc

Many players don't need the safe zones shield in the game. It ruins gameplay. Especially in solo private session or local coop game with friends. You come across to NPC enemy station and can't do anything. Every space barn undestructable. It's annoying, not realistic. You miss the feel of danger, you don't need to hide your base, and you can't defeat your enemy.

So we need an easy option to turn safe zones off in advanced menu. Just like spiders, etc. The players who needs it - they could use it.

Of course there is an option to turn it off by Alt+F10. But only for admin-solo player. And there is still visible force bubbles around. It's very uncomfortable, not suitable.

The following mechanisms are intended to balance SafeZones.

  • Safe zones consume 300 MW and 1 zone chip per hour.
  • Zone chips can't be made, only purchased (and they aren't cheap or always available).
  • SafeZones can't protect moving grids, like miners and trade ships.

Is it possible you have some mods enabled that are eliminating some of these conditions (either directly or indirectly) and the result is that SafeZones appear to be ruining your game play?

I believe he's referring to how the NPC stations have infinite safe zone shields, and he wants a button in the edit section to disable safe zones on NPC stations.

Also about the ruining gampelay part it seems he's referring to a roleplaying element, if he and or his friends ingame makes an enemy of a friendly NPC faction, he/they cannot destroy the friendly (now enemy) station because they have a infinite safe zone shield.
