Survival end game ideas

The end game in survival is lacking and there isnt much point to exploring.

Expanding on the monolith idea from the first jump scenario would be a good idea. have an object on each planet that the player has to get too and bring them together.

each object could come with an engineering challenge to test the players skills eg

A large powerful pirate base to test combat abilities

One of them being extremely heavy to make moving it difficult

One that drains power from the grid holding it meaning the player would either need some extreme power generation or a power efficient way of transporting the object.

This would give a goal to survival that encompasses as many aspects of the game as possible, mainly engineering answers to problems

Or just add more planets/moons and make them extremely far away almost like a different solar system. Maybe add an expanse in between of absolute nothingness so you have to either prepare very well or you'll be screwed. maybe put some anomalies/dangers in between as well and make some planets really hard to land and survive on (much harder than alien planet). Some planets that only a very well constructed probe or rover can handle that the player couldn't that way you would have to engineer stuff that you would have to remote control or automate just to make it to the planet. Also add comets that do massive damage if it hits a planet/moon and make more harsh weather. also add more npc ships as well as reintroduce complete pirate bases/battleships. Also put pirate npc bases on planets/moons. All that would make this game more interesting than your suggestion
