Coalition war with events

Space Engineers trailers are always beautiful! We see the red faction facing the blue or the green. These are huge factions with beautiful themed buildings, vehicles and ships.

In Space Engineers, it's just the opposite! Hundreds of small factions with ugly buildings. Because of the PCU limit, players go to the essentials.

Here is my proposal :

There are 3 coalitions: the reds (on the planet Mars), the blues (on the planet Earth), the greens (on the planet Alien). A coalition is a collection of factions at war with other coalitions.

Each coalition has a HQ, few stations, a mother ship and a few warships that spawn randomly in its territory. Faction HQs are on different planets but face each other. We can consider a triangle of which each HQ is a vertex. This triangle represents the war zone. Outside the war zone, the concept of coalition does not exist. Thus, coalitions occupy only a very small portion of planets and space.

When a player joins the server, he can choose to join a coalition or not in the same way that he can create a faction or not. If he joins a coalition then he will have to prove himself within the HQ via some tutorials or contracts. This will allow him to obtain the necessary to create his own station or a coalition warship, …

There are automatically generated events:

- Once a week there is a global battle involving all three coalitions. The winning coalition is the one whose mothership still has energy at the end of the combat. This is a big event that involves all coalition ships and can last up to 45 minutes.

- Every two hours there is an attack by one coalition against another. This is a small event that involves a few warships and can last up to 20 minutes.

The ships involved in these events are only generic ships that are created for the event and then deleted afterwards. A player can however offer his ship for an event by connecting it to a specific connector in the HQ. The blueprint of the ship is then saved. If the player logs into an event, he will be able to pilot a copy of his ship created specifically for the event. Thus the copy can be destroyed without involving damage to the original. If the ship does not have enough coalition color on its armor then the ship is completely painted with the coalition color.

Yes that would make the game more interesting even if you play in solo or with 2-3 friends.
