Multi-Fuel + Electricity Thrusters

Could you add the capability of modding thrusters to use more than a single type of fuel as well as have them consume electricity simultaneously?
These features should remain optional so as to not break any existing builds but still let people who like to add a bit more realism to the game have more options.
