3x3 Pistons and 1x1 Advanced Rotors for Small Grid

Not Enough Votes

Lots of functional blocks have been added to increase the versatility of grids, but there are a few gaps in the functionality provided by those blocks.

Namely, 3x3 pistons and 1x1 advanced rotors for small grid creations.

A 3x3 piston would be exactly as it sounds on the tin, a wide, chonky boi that can transfer items that the other small grid pistons just are unable to. This would be very useful for extendable connectors for docking with stations, especially if the stations have ports that are intended to be connected with on the underside of a ship.

1x1 advanced rotors are like regular small grid rotors, but can transfer small items through them just like the small hinges can. They would be very useful for small grid custom turrets, drill arms, etc.

If these are added, consider all bases covered when it comes to the differences between small and large grid, at least where mechanical blocks are considered.

All that, and more could be useful for small grid. Had a few more ideas in this thread https://support.keenswh.com/spaceengineers/pc/topic/small-grid-conveyor-extension

A 3x3 small grid piston would be so helpful for a lot of builds, super excited to see if this gets added!

Only half way there with 1x1 advanced rotors for small grid being added in the latest "Most Wanted" update!
