Turret Idle movement set to off as default
Not Enough Votes
what the title says; please set turret idle movement to off by default instead of on
it was somewhat fine with the old weapons, but with the addition of newer, slower traversing turrets, it's not ideal for weapon facing.
With the idle movement on by default it can make placing turrets a real pain.
In order to not have the turrets start spinning into random orientations you have to turn off your grid, then place the turrets, then go find a control panel, and then turn off idle movement, and then turn your grid back on; and if you forget then I guess your gonna have to grind the turret down and try again.
This would not be such a problem if either the idle animation was off by default, or the turrets had a button to reset their position to the start point.
If it was off by default people who want the turret idle on could simply place their turrets, then find a control panel, then turn the idle on; less faffing around for everyone.
