There is a Steam workshop mod that adds in "Docking Camera". It gives a docking port eye view and makes docking a lot easier.
I think more equipment should have "built in" camera options. The connector and the Merge block are the two that would benefit the most.
Others : a Door camera, Sensor with camera integrated and Light fixture with camera would be some others.
Also, improving the image quality of the cameras would not be terrible. Adding some degree of pan and tilt to go with zoom would be a nice bonus.
