Practical exploration goals

Over the years people have been asking for progressive resources or research/tech, reasons to visit other planets and in general a more structured approach to the player progression which could work no matter where you start from and would differentiate starting points further. Because, to be honest, they are not that different at the moment.
Some mods address this but there is still much to be desired.
I won't suggest anything specific, other than just express this sentiment once again, trusting Keen to choose the best implementation if they decide to ever address it that is. Merry Christmas.
