By adding some more technical Blocks like a chemical reactor could improve some features like fuel for thrusters or armor Blocks made out of plastic. Nitrogen could be harvest by collecting wood from trees by grinders. Hydrogen and Nitrogen could form Hydrazin, a common Rocket fuel!
These improvments could spark some new ideas for building specific rovers and ships for specific operations!
