Cut (Ctrl-X) target indication at prompt

When something is Ctrl+X'd, some sort of indication as to what the prompt refers to would be helpful. This would help prevent accidental deletion problems.
Make the target translucent, or highlighted with a glow or border colour etc... Something to indicate what will disappear when you click yes.
