When will SE get some new Weapons for more variety?

Like some Cannons, or lasers. Don't need to be OP, I'd just like some more variety from the weapons selection. These new updates are neat and all, but new weapons are what I'm really looking for. Maybe put up a poll among those that own the game and see what they think?

Or guided missiles and torpedoes.

We have those. It isn't difficult to find a missile script on the workshop, and you can customize small grid missiles very easily.

I'd be happy with a re-skin. Turrets look bad and take up 3x3 space. Hard to make ship not look dumb with those sticking out of it. 1x2 block would be nice for a turret.
