Game Improve idea - Allow to change colors to everybody

Hello all,
Im playing the game with a friend we are enjoying every way of the game but there is a single problem that is really annoying for us.
This problem is about the requierments to paint a block based on who have the most items constructed. We figured the way to have this access to one of us using some tricks but we would love to be able to paint the same ship.
I think that it would be very easy just to change the permissions to paint allowing to do it to players from the same faction.
Decorating is one of the most important aspects on this game and I think that this issue is not helping to enjoy the game properly.
