SUGGESTION - "Recenter Turret" Action for Toolbar

It would be incredibly handy to just push a button on my ship's toolbar to automatically reset turrets to their forward-facing position after a battle. Right now I need to manually go in and "steer" each turret, one by one, to bring them forward-facing again. And yes, it makes a HUGE difference in the visual presentation of a warship, whether all the turrets are facing forward or if they are facing at various obtuse angles. The latter is like:

Thanks to the Steam forums (which are way more active and helpful than this official website), I have found a temporary workaround: painting a turret with a different texture automatically resets it to the forward position.

This by no means nullifies my request, as it's still a tedious hack. But it is faster for me than manually "steering" each turret back to the forward-facing position. But please, add a "Recenter Turret" Action that we can use in our ship's toolbar, and allow it to work with groups.

I feel like 'Recenter Turret' should be a toggle in the block's settings so that a turret can be set to always return to the original position on its after it loses target lock. This would save players the effort of manually resetting the orientation whenever they desire this behavior.

It might even justify a three (or five) way option to replace the Enable Idle Movement toggle.

  • No Idle Movement
  • Idle Movement
  • Forward-Facing
  • (Spin)
  • (Counterclockwise Spin)
