Inventory Manager Block
Not Enough Votes
Keen will you make an inventory manager block that does inventory sorting stuff so we dont have to build weird pcu heavy sorting things that are probably laggier than a script or block for it? please im asking for the sake of pcu itself

I gave you a vote, but I'd like to modify your request. I believe a "Smart Cargo Container" variant of the current cargo containers would do the trick. Copy the whitelist / blacklist feature from the current sorter block and build that in the cargo container itself, so that the specific container would only accept items in the list. This removes the need for two sorters and all the extra plumbing.
Another option would be a bidirectional sorter. I don't know why they made the sorter a check valve to begin with, as I feel these are two separate functions. This forces us to use twice as many sorters and janky plumbing if you want bidirectional sorted cargo flow. Sorters and check valves should have been separate blocks to begin with.
