It will help to manage cargo ai ships. All ore have the same mass per 1L. Another thigs have different mass per 1L.

Liked, but don't see the potential in what you're describing, with already EC reacting to containeer storage fraction, and all problems tracking mass would do by dropping extra air bottles to refill etc. or taking bump damage and losing mass due to it.
