Game hard locks on projector - Blueprint not found

as many players like to maintain a current - updated copy of the blueprint for repairs/changes made to a ship, if you replace the blueprint (and delete the old), and something happens to the projector (destroyed/power etc) the game will hard freeze with an error of blueprint not found, cannot click out of it, cancel, or anything, ALT-F4 is about the only recourse
