why has plugin loader stopped working?

so i bought the automaton update yesterday and today my game save broke which i have wprked very hard on and now i have to load mods again which is so tedious and plugin loader dont work either but worked yesterday before i bought the stupid DLC, how can a DLC be this destructive to a game, most people play with mods so this is game breaking, i never expected a DLC to alter a game this way,if anybody has any workarounds please let me know, email me at leviathan1982@live.co.uk. i would be much appreciated...peace

It's nothing to do with the DLC, there was a game update today that broke the plugin loader. He's working on a fix.
Given that Keen somewhat officially acknowledged the plugin loader I'd kind of hoped they'd keep him in the loop about updates that might break it, but two updates in a row have tanked it without warning so I guess not.
