Found a fix for the fake gpu overheating problem that KEEN will not tell you about

Delete the shader cache, it worked for me, they wont tell you that cus they are thick as pig poo, they will make you wait literal years and i just deleted all the shader cache and temp folder infact i deleted all of them in %appdata% it seems to work now, lets see how long this lasts i will post an update if it fails again

I've been having a similar problem and heard this trick has helped a lot of people, but I still CTD or get the "hot video card" message. I even fully re-installed the entire game but no luck :( I'm glad this is helping more people though!
I sounds like Keen doesn't have the best customer support or bugfix reputation, that's a shame :(
