Option to disable chat

Hi Keen,
I have been playing Space Engineers for a while now and the game is amazing, but I do have a suggestion for multiplayer. Server guidelines usually say that people shouldn't cuss or post inappropriate content, but people don't listen and some people like kids have to see it. Sure, the person might be banned, but you can't un see that. Having a disable chat option could prevent other people from seeing this, allowing them to have a fun time. I play servers but my dad sometimes makes me get off because he doesn't want me to see cuss words. I understand his reasoning, and I hope you do too. Thanks Keen for the awesome game

This is such a necessity at this point. People spam chat in multiplayer like there's no tomorrow. Not to mention all the irritating people who just insult others non-stop for whatever reason they deem fit. I would rather enjoy the game with the ability to simply ignore them than have their crap plastered over my screen the whole time.

Yes please. If its not spam, MP has a major toxic problem. Having the option to disable chat at least if not a way to mute people is sorely needed.

I would also like to add for us streamers who stream live servers, stream sniping is a bitch to deal with especially if a faction member posts in chat co-ords to a location of there base or enemy targets or even mining positions be constantly attacked is a pain so disabling in-game chat would be a great help to counter without having to put a hug blurred out section on my stream on the off chance co-ords get linked
