Physics at the middle of the earth is klangy

Seeing as the planets keep eating my rovers, and other things, I decided to see if I could make a base down there with what I could recover - and I could. Challenge accepted.

Now please make the physics down there as stable as on the surface. There's too much rock that I can't drill, and that condemned grids phase through.

I mean I'm impressed you got all the way there; but why on earth would you want a base down there?

To see if I could. And to make a point -- too many things are falling through the world.

I mean that's fair, but I wouldn't be surprised if the game breaks a bit. You're trying to build a base in the core of a planet. Realistically it should be impossible to build there whatsoever lol. Physics at the center of a celestial body in SE act's very strange because it's basically all focused to a point. If you're building really close; or inside that point, you can expect all kinds of sudden horizon flipping and stability problems.

Yes, the in the small mining ship I built, the horizon indicator flips all over, and gravity is really wonky relative to the platform I built, but otherwise, it works as if on the surface.

And as to how I got down there, I was in a rover when it clipped the surface and I "rode" the rover all the way down where it clipped into the center "cave". I found a bunch of probes and a few planetary landers, with which I could build a survival kit and a wind turbine. Now I can spawn into the middle of the planet whenever I want. :)
