Suggestions for added Features

I've been playing the SE since first release pretty much. Couple of things I have thinking about and wishing was in the game or they've been tried via mods but unable to maintain.

*Armor Upgrading - was thinking of a tool like a refit tool or something that allows for the upgrade welding of light armor to heavy armor.. also thinking this could work for other blocks if there was more tiers. Also be cool if there was a medium armor block, be great idea for small block ships for a mid game and get heavy blocks for later in the game from the start.

*Heavy Bullet Proof Glass - The regular glass is too thin, would be nice to have like a have a stronger tier

*Camera feeds to LCD screens

Better weapon tracing when firing from a camera mounted ship. Ive been flying ships with a camera mounted above or below a center mounted weapon, but where I see the tracer rounds or the expected shots to go the dmg that actually occurs is far to the opposite side

Add ISY Inventory script base game - give opitions on containers to white list or black list items or groups of items. saves on sorters and many grids running Isy scripts and the issues that arise with the scripts.

I like both the idea for the inventory script and the camera feed, then i could make a proper control room. it wouldn't be to hard to add the inventory mod to vanilla but as far as camera feed goes i fear that many peoples fps would go straight to the trash

Well the original maker of the mod said ti would either be best by a third party tool or built in. its atleast woth exploring, but I rather fix the weapon tracing when using camera, the armor upgrade ot block upgrade tool and the inventory sorting built in to containers.

I agree. Glass is too thin and using it in a warship is suicide. Not only do I want it to be bullet proof, but explosion proof as well. Make it transparent metal and as strong as heavy armor.

Multilayer glass windows could do also the trick there. Like 1 small block thick

What about showing LCD content as a camera feed overlay? It wound not involve excess rendering and can give a better picture.
